In Loving Memory of Grace
In Loving Memory of Grace
2006 – 2025
Nineteen years ago, Moe spent weeks trying to convince Jeff to say yes to adopting a pair of kittens—a brother and sister duo who were the only two in their litter. That “yes” never quite came… but Moe brought them home anyway. And from the moment they arrived, Jeff’s heart melted. Just like that, their family grew.
Will and Grace were inseparable from the very beginning. For 17 years, they were constants—traveling through time and the seasons of life with Jeff and Moe. After Will passed, they were gifted two more cherished years with Grace.
Grace, always the quieter and more reserved of the pair, bloomed in those final years. She became more affectionate, more confident, and somehow even more perfect. She ruled their home with a quiet but undeniable presence—the queen of the household.
Grace was particular about who she allowed into her orbit, a true feline monarch. Outside of Jeff and Moe, only a select few were ever graced with her cuddles: Sharon, Paul, David, and Jeff’s mom. If Grace chose to sit beside you, to nuzzle against you, it meant something. It meant she saw your love—and she loved you right back. And if you’re reading this and remembering that moment, know this: you are part of their family.
Grace passed peacefully, shortly before 1 p.m. on July 10th, 2025, held in Jeff and Moe’s arms and surrounded by the deepest love. The same cancer that took her brother eventually found its way to her, beginning in her ear and eventually affecting her vision, jaw, and spirit. She fought with dignity, and when the time came, she was ready.
Jeff and Moe said goodbye with tears, kisses, and gratitude for nearly two decades of companionship and love. They take comfort in knowing she’s now in the care of Grammy, reunited with Will, Maisy, and Bailey—likely being spoiled with endless treats and plenty of warm laps.
Grace was, and will always be, their best girl. A soul deeply intertwined with theirs. Until the time comes to walk together again, they’ll be watching for her signs, her presence in dreams, and the quiet reminders that love—true, boundless love—never really goes anywhere.
Forever their baby. Forever family.
